Kubernetes Requirements
Graph Studio integrates with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) services to offer Kubernetes-based, dynamic deployments of Graph Lakehouse, Graph Studio Unstructured with Graph Studio Agent, and Elasticsearch.
The Kubernetes (K8s) integration automates the provisioning and deprovisioning of the resources and applications that support onboarding and accessing data in Graph Studio. In a K8s-based environment, Graph Studio users can activate pre-configured environments on-demand without needing specific technical, cloud platform, or infrastructure deployment skills. In addition, right-sized clusters are automatically created and deleted, avoiding the need to keep instances running indefinitely and reducing the overall cost of maintaining the applications.
The topics in this section provide general requirements for integrating K8s with Graph Studio and guidance on choosing the compute instances that are ideal for hosting the Graph Studio applications. For deployment instructions, see Setting up K8s Infrastructure for Dynamic Deployments.
