Predefined Roles and Permissions
The table below describes the default Anzo system roles and the permissions assigned to each role. To view more information about the existing roles and permissions for your system, open the Anzo console, expand the Administration menu and click System Roles. On the System Roles screen, select the Permissions tab. You can change the permissions for any of the following roles.
Default Role | Default Permission |
---|---|
Everyone | The Everyone role includes all Authenticated Users and anonymous users. Users in the Everyone role can view the Hi-Res Analytics page in the Anzo console and can view, create, and edit Hi-Res Analytic dashboards. |
Anzo Administrator | Access to all Anzo applications and features. Note: Anzo Administrators have access to all Anzo functionality but do not necessarily have access to all of the data in the system. Anzo Administrators must still be granted edit access to specific entities. |
Data Analyst | View, create, and edit Hi-Res Analytic dashboards and access to Hi-Res Analytics, Graphmarts, Catalog, and Activity Log in the Anzo console. |
Data Citizen | This role has the same default access as the Data Analyst role. |
Data Curator | In addition to having the same access as the Data Analyst, this role has access to Anzo for Excel and Models and Provenance in the Anzo console. Data Curators also have access to perform the tasks needed for data ingestion, such as creating storage and data sources, managing file connections, and running ETL jobs. |
Data Governor | This role has the same default access as the Data Curator role. |
Data Scientist | This role has the same default access as the Data Curator role with the following exceptions: this role does not have permission to view Hi-Res Analytics in the Anzo console and cannot create data lake storage. |
