Managing Data Layer Access

This topic provides instructions for configuring user access control for data layers.

  1. In the Anzo console, expand the Blend menu and click Graphmarts.
  2. On the Graphmarts screen, click the name of the graphmart for which you want to configure data layer security. Anzo displays the graphmart details. For example:

  3. Click the Data Layers tab. Anzo displays the existing data layers. For example:

  4. On the layer for which you want to change access control settings, click the vertical ellipses () and select Edit. Anzo opens the Edit screen. For example:

  5. Click the Security tab. Anzo displays the security screen where you can select the roles to configure.

  6. On the security screen, type a value in the Search for users and groups field to find and display the Anzo roles. For example:

  7. On the left of the screen, select the role for which you want to configure access control.
  8. On the right side of the screen, click the drop-down list under Access for Role Name and select one of the following options for designating the level of access for the role:
    • None: Users in the role cannot view the data layer.
    • View: Users in the role have view-only access to the data layer.
    • Modify: Users in the role can view and change the data layer but cannot change access permissions for the layer.
    • Admin: Users in the role can view and change the data layer as well as change access permissions.

    Repeat this step to make changes to additional roles.

  9. Click Save to save the changes and return to the Data Layers screen.
